This spring, myself and two of my very close friends, Shannie Denney and Kirsten Ireland, organized a photography group called "3 Photographers, 3 Worlds, 3 Perspectives." We were originally inspired by a similar online photo group shared between two women affiliated with the blog, "Mortal Muses." From their exceptional example, we developed a modified approach and set off into the world with what I like to call a new set of "camera eyes."

To give you a feel for how the group works, our objective in the challenge is to follow 9 monthly prompts to influence the capture of 27 collective photographs each month. These images are all to follow an intimate theme to create a visual comparison of our everyday lives and lend perspective on our individuality, approach, and creative style.

In the process, we hope to have a lot of fun and inspire and motivate one another to develop our skills and expand our photographic language. And, although there are some guidelines, there are not many rules. Because of this, I believe it is safe to say that the images will be just as diverse as the photographers themselves. In fact, expect to see images derived from an assortment of photography formats, photographic devices, and processing techniques!

Thank you for taking the time to check us out! Feel free to follow us throughout our journey, as we are excited to share our work!
